Opera Seems to Like the Firefox 4.0 Look

Yeah, they differ in the way the blog post was referring to, namely the button replacing the menu which was available in the leaked Opera build two days before the blog post. And the button is in Opera 10.0 from several months ago, only disabled by default.

Other than that, some of the mockups on that page show IE8-like Aero at the top, and an Opera-like tabs above the address bar. But no hidden title bar (like Chrome).

Bottom line: Opera had the menu at the top left and tabs above the address bar before Firefox. Chrome removed the title bar before both of them. Firefox is falling in line behind Chrome and Opera, not the other way around.

As a matter of fact, the look of Opera has been the same since Opera 10, release month ago. The only change I see it’s the O in the top left.
