This works with FF3.5

Found a problem or have a fix for one.

This works with FF3.5

Postby OwenGerrard » Thu Jul 02, 2009 6:11 pm

Hi all,

I really didn't want to lose Glasser in 3.5.1, so I quickly hacked in support for it with some amended CSS & installer. This works a treat. I'm running Windows 7 RC 7100 and FireFox 3.5.1 (full release).

I think it should work with Vista and FireFox 3.5.1 too. Also properly supports the curved bar etc.

Hope this helps out. It works at least.

Thanks for an amazing extension, Matthew.

*** UPDATE ***

FireFox 3.5.1 broke the patched version again. Don't worry, I fixed it and cheekily incremented the Glasser version to 1.1.2 (in the filename at least) to avoid confusion.

Thanks..man ..u saved me.

I had problem with this addon All-Glass Firefox mod, based on Glasser 2.1.2

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/12181

it make statusbar transparent , and I am using Download statusbar - which have transparent or white color letters caused by All-Glass Firefox mod, based on Glasser 2.1.2- and I was not possible to fix it.

Thanks for this release...

Most awesome & satisfying to see over 2000 people have benefited from the decision to share/give back my patch to the world.

You're all very welcome! I see this thread has even been mentioned on the Mozilla Add-ons site a few times (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/reviews/display/7336) - and yet there are people still posting, wishing for a 3.5 version! Over here, guys ;)

So, enjoy, take it easy & have a great day.

OK so 3.5.1 update for FireFox has broken my patch. I will sort it out now and post the update in a few minutes!

This does't work in Windows 7 x86_64 nor in FF 3.5 neither in FF3.5.1 x86_64. Need 64bit version of that dynamic library ...

Works fine for me in Win7 x64, although using standard 32bit Firefox.

The current version of Glasser (version 3.5) works fine with the latest version for Firefox (3.5.5)
